Warranty

Many of our products are sourced from different manufacturers and suppliers who have their own individual Warranty Policies.  A general guide explaining warranty coverage can be found below.

Any item purchased is warranted from the date of purchase against faults arising due to defects in materials or manufacturing.

Warranty does not cover parts or electrical components damaged by misuse, neglect, accident or impropper installation, nor those tampered with, altered or serviced by an agency not authorized by the manufacturer.

Warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, eg tyres and tubes.

All warranty claims must be returned to us for assessment.

Whether the arm supports on your chair are plain plastic, vinyl, or leather, the Shear Comfort Arm Protectors will provide enhanced comfort. The thick wool pile (1900gsm to be precise) securely attaches to the arm support, giving them a luxury feel.

For wheelchair users, the Shear Comfort Arm Protectors provide added security, especially for those who use the arm supports to shift body weight.

Shear Comfort Cushion-It

The Shear Comfort Cushion-It attaches securely to a chair seat or back to provide enhanced comfort and a luxury feel.

For the wheelchair user it provides pressure redistribution, allows greater freedom of movement by avoiding uncomfortable friction and shear associated with vinyl covers, and also wicks perspiration for enhanced comfort and skin protection. Size 46cm x 55cm.

Shear Comfort Foot & Calf Protectors

The Shear Comfort Foot and Calf Plate Protectors securely fit to the support plates of a wheelchair to provide added comfort by reducing pressure, shear, and friction from contact with the plates. Their heat and vapour dissipation properties also ensure all year round comfort, and the extra density removes the risk from painful knocks and scrapes.

ISO Standards Approval

Australian Standards have been developed to ensure equipment meets recognised safety and reliability criteria. To achieve this status, equipment must pass a series of tests in which it is put under difficult conditions that are designed to be similar to those that the child or adult may face when the equipment is used. For example, wheelchairs are tested for safhas gained Australian Standard acceptance, it provides a sense of satisfaction and reassurance that it is safe to be used and will do the job.
