Warranty

Many of our products are sourced from different manufacturers and suppliers who have their own individual Warranty Policies.  A general guide explaining warranty coverage can be found below.

Any item purchased is warranted from the date of purchase against faults arising due to defects in materials or manufacturing.

Warranty does not cover parts or electrical components damaged by misuse, neglect, accident or impropper installation, nor those tampered with, altered or serviced by an agency not authorized by the manufacturer.

Warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, eg tyres and tubes.

All warranty claims must be returned to us for assessment.

Shear Comfort Heel Protectors

The Shear Comfort Heel Protectors provides unencumbered protection for the at risk heel and ankle areas. The thick wool (1900gsm to be precise)redistributes pressure and reduces shear and friction, while the heat dissipation and moisture wicking qualities ensure comfort in use. Sold in Pairs and available in sizes Small, Medium, and Large.

Shear Comfort Pressure Care Assistant

The Shear Comfort Pressure Care Assistant fits securely to a single bed to provide targeted relief for areas such as the heels and sacrum which are typically more prone to skin ulcer development. They come with the added benefit of being easy to adjust, transfer and maintain. Size 70cm x 30cm.

Shear Comfort Elbow Protector

The Shear Comfort Elbow Protector redistributes pressure and thus eases blood flow over the bony joint, hence encouraging skin maintenance and repair over this problem area. For wheelchair users that rely on arm supports to shift body weight the thick wool pile can also provide that extra bit of comfort and protection. Sold in Pairs and available in sizes Small, Medium, and Large.

Shear Comfort Palm Protector

The Shear Comfort Palm Protector is designed to provide relief for people suffering painful hand contractions. The thick wool pile protects the delicate palm from tears by the nails, whilst also offering moisture absorption to avoid maceration. Sold as Right or Left. One Size Fits Most.

To achieve this status, equipment must pass a series of tests in which it is put under difficult conditions that are designed to be similar to those that the child or adult may face when the equipment is used.
