SilhouetteSling is made of a comfortable, pliable net fabric which allows body heat and moisture to pass through. This makes it particularly suitable for lifting to moulded seats, since the sling is usually left in the wheelchair after the lifting operation is completed.
Liko SilhouetteSling provides for a somewhat reclined sitting posture, which is appropriate for patients with poor trunk stability. Liko SilhouetteSling is very popular in care and rehabilitation situations, where sitting shells and moulded seats are commonly used.
Liko SilhouetteSling can also be used in bathing and showering situations.
It is available in several sizes, from Extra Small to Large.
SilhouetteSling was originally designed for small children. Sizes are designed for rehabilitation – size Medium is really Medium-Slim, i.e., fits tall, slender patients.
SilhouetteSling can be specially ordered in other fabrics
More information can be found in the Instruction Guide.
As an alternative to SilhouetteSling and for lifting to/from the floor, we recommend Liko Original HighBack Sling, mod 20/21.
