Any item purchased is warranted from the date of purchase against faults arising due to defects in materials or manufacturing.

Warranty does not cover parts or electrical components damaged by misuse, neglect, accident or impropper installation, nor those tampered with, altered or serviced by an agency not authorized by the manufacturer.

Warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, eg tyres and tubes.

All warranty claims must be returned to us for assessment.

Overview

HygieneVest has a vest section which surrounds and firmly supports the upper body during lifting. A generous opening around the buttocks leaves much of the lower body free for dressing and undressing during the lifting operation in connection with toilet visits.

Liko HygieneVest is intended for sit-to-sit lifting. The upright sitting posture facilitates lifts to the toilet and positioning in a wheelchair. Since the HygieneVest does not enclose the buttocks, it is ideal for lifting to and from moulded seats and close-fitting wheelchairs.

The leg supports are padded with soft corduroy fabric.


Liko HygieneVest HighBack, model 55

Liko HygieneVest HighBack is the right choice for those who need support to prevent the head from tilting back. Patients who have problems with spasticity should try model 55.


Recommended especially for

Liko HygieneVest is the preferred choice of many patients because of the stable and upright sitting posture.

HygieneVest can also be the best choice for severely disabled patients with amputated legs or those who have problems with spasticity (especially mod 55). Patients with very limited trunk stability and poor muscle tone can usually manage lifts with HygieneVest and find it secure and comfortable.

ISO Standards Approval

Australian Standards have been developed to ensure equipment meets recognised safety and reliability criteria. To achieve this status, equipment must pass a series of tests in which it is put under difficult conditions that are designed to be similar to those that the child or adult may face when the equipment is used. For example, wheelchairs are tested for safhas gained Australian Standard acceptance, it provides a sense of satisfaction and reassurance that it is safe to be used and will do the job.
