Ideal for Most Lifting Situations and for Heavier Users

Viking L is suitable in most lifting situations, eg. lifting from the floor, to/from the toilet, horizontal lifting, gait training. It will lift users up to 250kg with ease.

Available as accessories are retractable arm rests, which support the patient during gait training or make it easier for staff to manoeuvre the lift when lifting a heavy patient. Also available in the accessory range are special lifting accessories developed for gait training during rehabilitation.

To provide maximum security for staff and patients, Viking L is equipped with both mechanical and electrical emergency lowering.

Many of our products are sourced from different manufacturers and suppliers who have their own individual Warranty Policies.  A general guide explaining warranty coverage can be found below.

Any item purchased is warranted from the date of purchase against faults arising due to defects in materials or manufacturing.

Warranty does not cover parts or electrical components damaged by misuse, neglect, accident or improper installation, nor those tampered with, altered or serviced by an agency not authorized by the manufacturer.

Warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, eg tyres and tubes.

All warranty claims must be returned to us for assessment.


In spite of its high maximum load, Viking L weighs just 40kg. The low weight and the large wheels make the lift very easy to manoeuvre.

Viking L can be equipped with Liko Quick-Release Hook System to quickly and easily change the sling bar or install a scale.

Liko's complete range of accessories can be used with Viking L and there are more than 200 different sling models to suit all patients and situations.

Like many of Liko's products, Viking L is made of aluminium – a light, strong and environmentally-friendly material.

ISO Standards Approval

Australian Standards have been developed to ensure equipment meets recognised safety and reliability criteria. To achieve this status, equipment must pass a series of tests in which it is put under difficult conditions that are designed to be similar to those that the child or adult may face when the equipment is used. For example, wheelchairs are tested for safhas gained Australian Standard acceptance, it provides a sense of satisfaction and reassurance that it is safe to be used and will do the job.
