For tens of millions of people worldwide with a physical disability, fitness can be difficult to maintain and fitness centers can be a daunting environment. There are few options for cardiovascular exercise if you are unable to utilize your lower body.

Thanks to Johnny G and his Krankcycle, the opportunities are not only boundless but they are challenging, fun, and soulful. Inclusive Fitness is a concept that encourages the industry to become all-encompassing by considering the needs of the physically challenged.

The Krankcycle® is completely wheelchair accessible, and Kranking can be performed in a seated or standing position. For the first time, those without use of their legs due to central disabilities, spinal cord injuries and even those rehabilitating lower body injuries can perform an effective, fun cardiovascular workout. For the first time, wheelchair users and others with special needs can enjoy the benefits of exercising with the Krankcycle at home or in a group fitness setting at the MPOT gym.

ISO Standards Approval

Australian Standards have been developed to ensure equipment meets recognised safety and reliability criteria. To achieve this status, equipment must pass a series of tests in which it is put under difficult conditions that are designed to be similar to those that the child or adult may face when the equipment is used. For example, wheelchairs are tested for safhas gained Australian Standard acceptance, it provides a sense of satisfaction and reassurance that it is safe to be used and will do the job.
